Dion is the Founder and CEO of Madison One Consulting, Inc. and is dedicated to all things sales.
He started his career at a global publicly traded FinTech firm, FactSet, where he worked as a Consultant assisting the world's largest institutional asset managers, asset owners, hedge funds and wealth management firms. After about day two on the job (since day one was orientation), he knew he wanted to go into sales. Ultimately, he rose to Account Executive and began cold calling like a fiend. Very quickly, he was given the region's entire prospecting book in addition to managing existing accounts.
After a few promotions and a good tenure at FactSet, Dion began to build on his impressive sales resume, including:
Head of Inside Sales, Regional Director and ultimately National Sales Director at boutique asset management firm, Innealta Capital.
Vice President and Team Lead for the West Coast Index Sales team at MSCI, a publicly traded global financial data and analytics firm, overseeing a sales team of four with annual recurring revenue of over $27 million.
Managing Director and Head of Americas Sales at global wealth data, research and analytics firm, Wealth-X. In just a single year, he had a tremendous impact including restructuring the Sales and Client Success comp plans, redesigning the team structure, revamping the sales strategy and overseeing a team that generated significant revenue growth.
Graduate of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Program in Strategic Sales Management.
After over 11 years of sales and sales leadership experience, Dion decided to start Madison One Consulting. He takes incredible pride in helping sales organizations realize success they didn’t know was possible.
Dion currently resides in his hometown of Rye, NY. When he isn't working or traveling, chances are you can find him on the golf course or by following the billows of cigar smoke.
